Wish You Were Here – Family Devotions

Wish You Were Here – Family Devotions

posted in: Uncategorized | 0

During the summer of 2016, First Century Church is taking a trip through the New Testament book of Ephesians in our summer series, “Wish You Were Here”. Ephesians is a letter written by a pastor and church planter named Paul to encourage and challenge the Christians in the ancient city of Ephesus. Their lives, culture, problems, relationships, & struggles are very much like ours today, so the truths we discover in this nearly 2,000-year-old letter provide us with very much needed insight for our 21st Century American culture.

To supplement each weeks’ message, we are providing a Family Devotion with questions that tie into the themes or main ideas from each week. Our hope is that you will take a few minutes to wrestle with these questions and grow deeper on your spiritual journey. You can use these questions for self-reflection, but we encourage you to go through each devotion with your spouse, kids, or even a group of friends during the week to get differing viewpoints, encourage others on their journey, and grow together in community.

We hope these devotions are helpful & fruitful for you this summer!
