THE BIBLE

We believe the Bible is the story of God. God divinely inspired various individuals to write the words contained within the Bible, and what they originally wrote is without error. It is the ultimate standard of truth and guide for living.

 

GOD

We believe there is one God in three persons: Father, Son, & Holy Spirit. God is eternal. God is supreme. God is sovereign, which means we believe He is always in control of everything.

 

JESUS

We believe Jesus is the one-and-only Son of God. At the same time, Jesus is God, as the second person of the Trinity. Jesus came from heaven to earth, was virgin-born, lived a sinless life, died a substitutionary death on a cross for the sins of mankind, and rose from the dead after three days. He then ascended into heaven where he is now, but will soon return to reign as the ultimate King. He is the only way people can receive salvation and eternal life.

 

HOLY SPIRIT

We believe the Holy Spirit is the third person of the Trinity. He is our comforter and helper in life. The Holy Spirit provides various ‘spiritual gifts’ which aid in the lives and development of all Christians. The Holy Spirit also gives Christians strength and power to be able to serve God and positively impact others around them every day.

 

US

We believe man was created in the image of God and therefore has individual value and worth. Mankind is also intended to have a relationship with God. However, since the first man & woman, Adam & Eve, sinned against God, every person who has ever lived has been separated from God by our human, sinful nature. Only a belief in Jesus Christ’s death on the cross for our sins can restore this relationship with God.

 

THE CHURCH

We believe the Church is made up of all those who have put their faith in Jesus Christ. It is a worldwide movement started by Jesus including all races, genders, languages, and people groups. The mission of the Church is to bring glory to God by sharing with others the life-changing message of Jesus in word and deed.
