We understand trying out a new church can be intimidating. Our goal is to help you feel right at home and enjoy your time with us from the moment you pull up on Sunday morning. Here’s what you can expect when you visit First Century:

 

 

WHEN & WHERE DO YOU MEET?

We meet each Sunday morning @ 10AM

WHAT SHOULD I WEAR?

Clothes. But, seriously, there’s no dress code @ 1C. The pastor is usually in jeans & a t-shirt or button-up (and of course some color of converse kicks). Dress in whatever way makes you feel the most comfortable.

 

WHAT ELSE SHOULD I EXPECT ON MY FIRST VISIT?

• As you enter for the first time (and every time) you’ll be warmly greeted by our amazing First Impressions Team who can give you a grand tour if you’d like, or at least show you where to find coffee & a place to sit.

• If you have kids (6wks-5th grade) with you, our 1CKids team will help you get them checked in and find their fun, safe, & age-appropriate class. They will have a BLAST! Make your kids’ first visit even easier by pre-registering them here.

• At 10:00 the band will kick things off with live music that lasts usually 20-25 minutes.

• Each week you can expect practical, straight-forward teaching that anyone from any background can relate to. It’s our hope that if this is your first time ever in a church, your first time in a long time, or you’re a long-time follower of Jesus, that you’ll leave challenged & encouraged for the week ahead. Our gatherings last about 70 minutes from beginning to end.

• If it’s your first time with us, you’ll have the opportunity to fill out a ConnectCard. It’s just a simple way for us to stay in communication with you about all the exciting things happening @ 1C. And before you leave, be sure to pick up your free gift @ the Connect Center as our way of saying, “Thanks” for checking us out!
